Built for Living are independent custom home builders and renovators and specialise in;

We offer a design-and-build service, or we can use your approved plans.

During the design phase, we have all parties - designer/builder/owner, work together to develop construction based on your budget for an achievable outcome.

Built for Living can provide compulsory home warranty insurance (HBCF) for building projects valued up to One million dollars.

The Owners

Built for Living is owned and managed by husband & wife team Rod and Kathy.

Rod’s qualifications

  • Licensed builder

  • Advanced Certificate - Building Supervision

  • Trade qualified Carpenter & Joiner

  • 30+ years building experience

With an ever increasing demand for energy efficient, comfortable homes, Rod has also completed the Passive House Tradesmans course as well as the GreenSmart Professional course, offering additional resources not commonly available.

Kathy has a corporate management background and provides a liaison and support for clients during the building process, helping translate the technical building process into plain English.
